Performing Arts
In 1711, the term "performing arts" first appeared in the English language. It is an art form which uses the artist's own body and face as a medium. Hence, any artistic work which is intended to be performed either directly or indirectly in front of an audience, comes under this section.
The performing arts industry has undergone tremendous change in the past few years. Today, it is one of the most competitive industry with full of struggling performers. The performers who are able to make a mark for themselves in this industry tend to display energy, creativity, skill and above all, determination. Therefore, to give a flawless performance every artist need to spend hours perfecting their performing arts.
Some of the famous categories included in this section are dance, music, theater, circus art and opera. People who are engaged in this field are called as performers.
