Photography
The word "photography" has been derived from the Greek word (phos) "light" and (graphis) "stylus." It can be defined as the process, activity and art of creating still or moving pictures through a sensitive medium, like a film or an electronic sensor. Traditionally, the images clicked are commonly known as photos.
In the 20th century, both fine art photography and documentary photography were included in the English-speaking art world. The aesthetics of photography is one hot topic which continues to be discussed till date, especially in the artistic circles.
Photography proves to be quite a useful element for many business, art and pleasure. For instance, scientists use photography to record and study movements. Whereas, artists explore different avenues through photo-mechanical representation. Amateurs use photography as a medium to preserve precious memories. Moreover, photography has greatly contributed to the development of commercial advertising as well.
